In line with the Group’s growth and investment in Health, Safety and Environment, the development of the HSE team is constant and focused on continuous improvement and sustainability.
We are now looking for an HSE Manager to join our HSE team at the Rodano (MI) plant.
With us you will be able to:
- Oversee the contractor’s environmental, health and safety requirements during the construction phase and help test and evaluate environmental, health and safety performance by design during the project start-up phase
- Will be responsible for the management and implementation of integrated environmental and safety management procedures, development of operating institutions for line operators that maintain safe operations
- Will also be responsible for the process of wastewater treatment, air emission abatement, and waste management
- Support the management of site impact assessments, operating permits, and construction permits
- Oversee appropriate training content and delivery methods in line with global and regional requirements, conduct gap assessments to identify training needs, adapt curriculum to reflect site-specific needs, and provide training (81/08)
- Work with key site or project leaders to integrate and operationalize environmental, health and safety programs and promote a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement
- Support the Plant Director in facilitating community and government interaction and external reputation
Apply if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the role of HSE Manager.
- Experience in manufacturing companies in chemical or pharmaceutical companies and a solid working knowledge of food safety industry practices and standards will be an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in health and/or safety science or related technical field
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering/environmental engineering or equivalent technical degree will be an advantage
- Knowledge of the Seveso Act (105/15) and safety emergency management
- Confirmed ability to deliver processes effectively to optimize company resources
- Business acumen and ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business counterparts
- Proven communication skills at all organizational levels
